What has happened to Ferrellgas since Mr. Gullion has been away?!? I'll tell you exactly what's happened; it's turned to crap!!

BTW, did I mention you're losing many members of our family as well? Our two homes, 3 uncles, a set of grandparents and whomever else we tell. That's 6 homes in case you lost count.

Good luck in the future treating people that way!!

1. Please try to refrain from making those terrible faces when a customer comes in to speak with you. It's typically appropriate to ask a customer how they are or things like "how may I help you?", not "yeah, what or ok". Customer Service 101.

The main reason we switched was the lack of professionalism offered by Mrs. Tackett the customer service person working at the Sparta location. Here are a few tips for her in the future should she read this.

Southern States all the way for us after this experience. 2.09 lock in rate AND the clincher is, they actually appreciate our business.

Sincerely,

2. Loose the attitude. Not everyone who comes in to speak with you just came out of the bar next door or the boob lounge, but are perhaps influential customers who do quite a bit of business with your company. Even if they were from either of those establishments your courteous demeanor should still be expected; no exceptions.

Our family devoted 30 years of service to this company and as customers were generally satisfied with the exception of the price of gas. The prices were never lowered or fell like with other companies, but rather maintained the same rate or even went higher. $2.39 doesn't sound like much but when you use 800 gallons it really adds up. I know of some folks who pay much higher rates than us, but that's neither here nor there.

So if you have good credit and run out of propane, they will come out that day and fill your tank no problem. If you have bad credit, but pay for the minimum 200 gal. Filling you have to wait and they can't give you a date they will deliver it. That is unacceptable. Especially if you have a family and no other source of heat in the winter. These people are rude and don't care about customer service. I would never recommend ferrel gas to anyone, not even to my worst enemy.

5. Lower your prices. In fact, being more competitive with the current competition would most likely bring you more business provided you treated the customers well.

3. Appreciate the customers you have. Customers appreciate feeling valued, not being told you don't care about their 30 year good standing relationship. "Thank you", "we appreciate you", "whatever I can do to help", are great helping statements. Feel free to jot these down for future customers.

4. Speaking poorly about previous managers at your business, ie the now local mayor, makes you LOOK bad, not the person you're referencing.

The now happy customer
